This is one of my favourite veg whenever I go out and eat in the restaurant. Sometimes I can even finish the whole plate of veg at home and my favourite is to cook it with the fermented beancurd and they called it 'Fu Yue Yao Mak'.
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
3 pieces of fermented beancurd
1 tsp chopped chilli padi
500gm baby romanian lettuce ( yao mak )
1 tsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1. Heat up oil, saute chopped garlic until fragrant. Add in fermented beancurd, chilli padi and stir well.
2. Add in lettuce, seasoning and stir-fry at high heat until cooked. Dish up and serve hot.
