Yam Fried Rice

Since there are still some yam left over so I used it to fried rice with yam. What you need to do is just cut the yam into cubes and deep fried in hot oil till soft or cooked. I added some dried prawns into the fried rice.

Next step is to make some scramble eggs and then saute the dried prawns and some chopped garlic till fragrant. Then add in the rice and stir well. Throw in the yam and season with salt and soya sauce to taste.

Here you go a nice bowl of fragrant Yam Fried Rice for dinner.

I am sure going to give this recipe a try. I will usuall cook the yam with the rice but never on a fried rice.
