Night Market With Kids? Not Anymore!

This week has been a pretty busy week. We will have a Management Meeting and follow up by the National Sales & Marketing Meeting then Company Annual Dinner then Appraisal time. SUCKS.... I wish I don't need to attend all these. Wouldn't want to describe more... just one sentence from me... 'IT'S TIME TO MOVE'.

I haven't been cooking for the past one week. Dearie Suki was not back for dinner the last few days means no cooking = no picture = nothing to blog about. Hahaha... search through the pictures folder and found some of the shots which I have yet to blog.

Two months back, Dearie Suki brought us to the night market in Taman Connaught, Cheras. Its been ages I haven't been to the night market there. Off we go after dinner and OMG, we look for a parking space for more than 1/2 an hour.

Both me and Dearie Suki always have a bad habit when we go to the night market. Buy too much food and end up can't finish it. Here this is what we bought from the night market.

Fried Chicken Wing for Le-Ann. Its her favourite.

Any idea what is this call in Chinese or English? For me it taste more like Mochi but the Chinese version la. They have pandan flavour, banana flavour, vanilla flavour and now even durian flavour.

Pandan Apam Balik. Queue for this for more than 20 minutes. What so nice about it, it is just pandan flavour and green in colour. Guess how much? 1 piece RM1.00. Expensive ya.

This is something cute I found at the night market. The Taiwanese Hot Cakes with cute Japanese Cartoon Character. 1 piece RM0.50 . Taste more like 'Kuih Bahulu'. I go crazy looking for the mould. It is just so cute. I wonder where is the 'taukeh' get the mould.

Muah Chee is another one of my favourite. I just love it so much.

The night market is crowded with people, too many stalls and the kids is sweating all the way. Carrying them and walked for almost 40 minutes is hell of tiring. Both Le-Ann and Ee-Thern wanted this and that and if you asked me will I bring them again to the night market... the answer is 'NO'!

I like Taman Connaught pasar malam but finding a parking can be 'hell' Did you try the stinky taufoo there and also the nonya nasi lemak. You can smell the stinky taufoo from miles away :)

Wah, so many unique desserts at this pasar malam. Luckily the pasar malam at my housing estate does not sell this many items, else, there goes my diet plan.
BTW, I like the CNY song in your blog! So catchy!

We also have the moochi here in the Philippines. We have a lot of flavors, taro, pandan, strawberry, to name a few.
